What do you enjoy about your job?

I do this job because I care about people at one of the most difficult times in their lives. I had a tragic experience as a child that has shaped my philosophy on what care looks like, and this aligns with the vision of GHM Funerals, making me very proud to represent GHM in our community.

How long have you been in the industry?

I first entered the industry in 2015 as a Funeral Director Assistant and progressed through multiple roles in the industry. I moved from New Zealand to Australia and from there I became a Location Manager.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Clare and our 6 daughters.

Aside from that, I do love Rugby League and have become a supporter of the Souths Logan Magpies, who we have now partnered with as a premier sponsor. I began supporting the Brisbane Broncos when I moved to Brisbane in 2019 after supporting the Warriors for 22 years.

What makes your GHM Funerals special?

Our location has recently been renovated and now has start-of-the-art facilities, including a chapel, reflection lounge and audio-visual equipment.

Lastly, at the forefront are our team. We have a new generation of Funeral Directors who are at the front line of innovation and personalisation.
