Scott Butcher is the Location Manager at George Hartnett Metropolitan Funerals Bribie Island and GHM Redcliffe, where he oversees daily operations and leads his team in delivering the highest standard of care to every family. Guided by the values of Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness, Excellence, and Safety, Scott is committed to ensuring each service is delivered with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. He ensures every farewell is thoughtfully arranged to honour and reflect the life of each individual with dignity and respect.
Following his own personal loss, Scott felt a strong calling to this role and is deeply committed to giving back to the community by supporting families through some of life’s most difficult moments with understanding and care.
Outside of his role, Scott values spending quality time with his family and friends. He enjoys cooking—particularly smoking meats—and bringing people together over good food. Scott also loves getting out for drives with his wife, exploring the local hills and Sunshine Coast, and trying restaurants in the local area. A proud grandfather, he cherishes time spent with his new grandson and the joy of family connection.
