She started off in the funeral industry back in New Zealand in 2000, before meeting her husband and moving to Australia to start a new life.
When asked, what do you like most about your role as a Funeral Director, Penny’s answer is always the same - the different families you meet every day make a difference. She feels great satisfaction from hearing families express “that was a lot easier than I thought it would be” and “you made it so much easier.”
She is very proud of the updated refurbished chapel and wake facilities at Aspley. The facilities are not only available for funeral services but also for community groups to use.
