Karen in Camberwell/Box Hill was calm and reassuring and just sorted things for us at the right speed for us.
The two staff that attended Mum to take her were also just so kind and respectful. We were so grateful.
Whether you need us now or want to plan ahead, we're ready to support you 24/7.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I have been working in the funeral industry since 2019.
How long have you been a funeral arranger?
This is such a rewarding and meaningful occupation. Helping families at such an important and difficult time is what we do. I am honoured and humbled every day that our families entrust us to take great care of them and their loved one.
What charities does your brand/location support in your area?
I particularly enjoy supporting youth development initiatives and have been a Venturer Scout leader for some years. This year I was privileged to serve as a judge for our local Lions Youth of the Year Award rounds.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
Spending time with my family and friends. Visiting exhibitions and shows, gardening and reading.
What do you love about the community your funeral home is in?
Our community is incredibly warm and friendly. I especially love the enthusiasm and generosity of our community when we are collecting donations for the Sandbag Community Centre Christmas Gift drive and our Winter Blanket Collection. I really enjoy meeting everyone that comes in to bring their donations.
