Having our own chapels and facilities, ensures you have the opportunity to control all aspects of the service provisions. We want your family and friends to have all the time needed to carry out the type of funeral you want.

Chapel

That can accommodate up to 76 seated guests and has standing room for another 20 guests.

Audio Visual

Available to play music and show photos and videos to commemorate your loved one.

Arrangement Rooms

A private and comfortable space to meet our funeral directors.

Our on-site car park has 10 available spots, with additional parking available in nearby streets.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I do this job because I care about people at one of the most difficult times in their lives. I had a tragic experience as a child that has shaped my philosophy on what care looks like, and this aligns with the vision of GHM Funerals, making me very proud to represent GHM in our community.

How long have you been in the industry?

I first entered the industry in 2015 as a Funeral Director Assistant and progressed through multiple roles in the industry. I moved from New Zealand to Australia and from there I became a Location Manager.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Clare and our 6 daughters.

Aside from that, I do love Rugby League and have become a supporter of the Wynnum-Manly Seagulls, who we have now partnered with as a premier sponsor. I began supporting the Brisbane Broncos when I moved to Brisbane in 2019 after supporting the Warriors for 22 years.

What makes your GHM Funerals special?

Our location has recently been renovated and now has start-of-the-art facilities, including a chapel, reflection lounge and audio-visual equipment. In addition to this, we are the only funeral home in Redland City with a chapel, and reflection lounge.

Lastly, at the forefront are our team. We have a new generation of Funeral Directors who are at the front line of innovation and personalisation.

Caleb made a really difficult time easy for us to navigate. As we went through the process of planning our Dad's funeral, he was supportive, compassionate and really helpful. He helped us plan a service that was authentically ’Dad’ which gave us moments to laugh in between the tears and felt like the perfect farewell for him. It’s not a service I want to have to use again anytime soon, but when I do, I would call Caleb…he is a man who does this job because he cares about people and helps them on the worst days of their lives, making it all seem a little more bearable.
