George Hartnett Funerals and Metropolitan Funerals have come together to bring more than 145 years of combined experience caring for families.
Our professional and compassionate funeral directors will work alongside you and arrange a funeral that honours and celebrates your loved one’s life. Our funeral directors have experience working with families from all cultural and religious backgrounds and can organise any type of service for your loved one.
Bribie Island is the smallest and most northerly of three sand islands forming the coastline along the northern part of Moreton Bay. The majority of the island is uninhabited national park and forests making it a scenic backdrop for a service. Our new funeral home on Bribie Island is centrally located and is proudly serving families in the local areas of Bribie Island, Sandstone Point, Bellara, Bongaree, Ningi, Beachmere, Caboolture and surrounding suburbs.
There are many options available to you for a funeral service
Some options include:
Following the ceremony, your loved one can be memorialised at Bribie Island Memorial Garden which is 5km from our funeral home. Great Northern Garden of Remembrance is 32km away from our funeral home and also has memorial options.
George Hartnett Metropolitan Funerals in Bribie Island is a quiet and welcoming space for families to gather and arrange a funeral.
Our funeral home includes two arrangement rooms, which are private spaces where you can sit and arrange the service with your funeral director. Both rooms are equipped with a television.
Our funeral home is located in a shopping centre and there is ample parking available. The funeral home is also accessible to visitors using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
The team at George Hartnett Funerals Bribie Island are with you every step of the way, keeping you informed and guiding you through the arrangements as much or as little as you need.
